I Got The Blues

The colour blue has not always been my favourite colour. But a couple of years ago I started glimpsing towards the ocean hue. Now, everywhere I look, especially in my wardrobe, there´s different shades of blue, aqua, marine, sea foam, you name it, I probably got it! Before, I always went for black if there was other options of colours to choose from, now I go directly for the blue one.
Here´s some of my newest addisons(plus some other blue colours chattered around the house, I have a thing for origami cranes, our home is flooded with them).

sailor jumper from Boutique by Jaeger, I´m a sucker for jailor collars. Have always had a fascination for uniforms and old edwardian children's wear with the pretty collars and bows...

... I guess this is my way to act it out

and my aqua blue clogs, they are so comfortable it´s almost scary, I can probably go out for a run in them... but I won't!

yeah yeah yeah!

Me yesterday, photo booting the result of playing hairdresser, needed to cut my fringe, badly. Even though I´m terrible at it I dedicated about 40 minutes in front of the bathroom mirror to cut it anyway. Which I regret today!

Right now I´m currently packing, repacking, making lists, baking nice low-in-sugar cardamom buns for the train ride, making a movie list for my son (so he doesn't  get bored to death on our way to Stockholm), let me just tell you a portable DVD player for kids is the shit!


I have also made some really nice purchases on ASOS (by the way ASOS has super nice summer sale with free shipping world wide, can you imagine, I´m in heaven). So I ordered a little bit of something, something for myself. From TBA among other things, the parcel is waiting for me at my dads place back in Sweden, I can barely wait!


Anyway, for you twitter fans out there, I joined... still trying to figure out how it works, I´m getting there... maybe! Still, it´s actually great fun, so please come follow me... Here I´m


Oh, and I will soon be up and running more frequently, I have just had a few to many things on my mind lately, and I´m not that very use to blogging yet. So it´s the same as for twitter I´m getting there!

mix and match

I love mixing patterns, for our home for my outfits... flowers with stripes, what´s not to like!?
But, I also LOVE an extreme match like the once from TBA below:

Look at this outfit, it´s perfection, if it wasn't for my tiny wallet this combo would be in my wardrobe in a heartbeat 

However I have tried to make this extreme match with some garments more suitable for my means. But I´m still waiting, impatiently, for the parcel which will complete my look, stay tuned!
